SloGrass Our musical buddies and another band Bob plays with...on the Bass. SloGrass has been entertaining central Mass. audiences for 30 years now with their signature mix of bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk, celtic-reggae (?!) - it's all acoustic!

The Boston Bluegrass Union - a wonderful connection to New England area events, gigs, pickin parties and bands maintained by Judy Alland, Gerry Katz and John Robinson.

International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) - a link to the international professional trade organization dedicated to promoting and expanding the knowledge of Bluegrass Music.

Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine - since1966, this excellent publication has been dedicated to the furtherance of bluegrass and old-time country musicians, devotees and associations.

Banjo Newsletter - lots of great tab and features for banjo players.

David Grisman's Dawgnet - the also really cool site of the grandaddy of mandolin with lots of info about mandolin CD's on his private Acoustic Disk label.

MandoZine magazine for mandolinsters - MandoZine is a great resource for beginning and advanced mandolinsters and those who don't play, but love the music. Includes a mandolin buyer's guide, workshops and more.

Rounder Records Homepage - reach the home of Rounder Records, with links and info on their complete catalogue of acoustic and related recordings.

The Mandolin Cafe - located near historic downtown Lawrence, Kansas on the banks of the KansasRiver, a favorite diner for mandolin players of all styles. Lots of mandolin chords, exercises, charts, lessons, tablature, soloing exercises, mandolin software, historical information, mandolin technical and product information, and "lots of other fun stuff".

Elderly Musical Instrument Co. - a huge music store and mail-order service featuring new and used guitars, basses, amplifiers (whatever they are!), banjos, mandolins, fiddles, dulcimers, harmonicas, accordions, bodhrans, books, videos, CD's and cassettes. Good prices.

Mandolin Brothers - in Staten Island, NY. For any of you with a quarter to call someone who cares, this is where Fran bought his "Black Beauty" Flatiron. All kinds of instruments. A great store, a little overpriced, but worth the drive for anyone in the Northeast.
