Hey
BVBB
Fans! This show is why we're together. This is the very first show
that we ever did and the reason the band was put together.
Ken, as a member of the Recreation Committee, had to fill
this slot with a band and he wanted a bluegrass theme. We're still
here and we start our 10th year
together. Come down and celebrate with us!!!

Whoooeee!
Trying to catch up on things since our 3 day festival
at the
3rd Annual Laurie Blue Bluegrass Festival
on
Prince Edward Island!! I
want to say for the whole band;
THANK YOU FOLKS!! We had an absolutely wonderful
time!
The folks up there in the Maritimes have to be some of the
nicest folks your ever going to come across. They're a
tremendously appreciative audience who love their Bluegrass
and know how to show it! We caught up with some old
friends and certainly made a whole bunch of new friends as
well. We'd like to give a special shout out to Guy
Cormier, Shirley Jay, Darlene MacWilliams and Serge Bernard for making our
stay so memorable. Thanks again everybody!!
Looking
forward to our show in Rhode Island at
Homestead Gardens
on November 16th. This will be our last show til December 15th when we gear up
for a Christmas show at Bobs
Grass Roots
Coffeehouse.
See our
Schedule
page for more info on both these shows.

CD INFO:
We received our Limited Edition CD
just in time for PEI and we will be finishing up the artwork
for the full production run..... Stay tuned for more
info and how you can purchase our CD titled:
"DEBUT"
10/20/07
Holy Smokes, we did it....
We have
finally
finished the CD!
This has been a great time and experience for all of
us..... We had some really great studio time; just the
four of us tossing out ideas, watching songs evolve and
discovering new things. I've recorded a song or two before
but this was my first time recording a full CD. Whew! It's
been a great learning experience .....for all of us!
CD's will be available in just a few short weeks!
We'll send out a message when they're here.
We'll have a limited edition CD available for sale at our PEI show!!
See..... we have to go to a different country before
we release a CD!!!
Anyway....
We really have had a busy fall season with
all of the recording and some fantastic Gigs thrown in too!
We're
looking forward to a busy Winter season, so please check the
Schedule page
for all of our gigs. We're already seeing a pretty heavy
schedule for 2008 too!!!
An especially cool show coming up is a nice 3 day indoor Bluegrass
Festival in Prince Edward Island, Canada. November 2-4.

3rd Annual Laurie Blue Bluegrass Festival This
is going to be fun!!! Hope to see some of you there!

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
We have just received word that due to some
financial difficulties, we have been dropped from the
PERKINSTOCK BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL in Maine. The festival
will continue but they have been forced to reduce the
performer list with mostly Maine bands with a couple
headliners. We do apologize and are disappointed that
we will not be able to be a part of the show. We had a
radio spot planned as well as a Festival opening party!!
Bummer!! Sorry folks! djn
BVBB NEWS 7/2/07
We'll be taking a little time off for our family vacations
in July - though you may see a few of us here and there.
Dave will hook up with his old buddy Roger Williams and
Amy Gallatin, Bob
with Ray
Legere at Osipee BG Festival, Ken with
Erica Brown
and Dan and Bob with Tallgrass. Check out the links
for more info.
But look for us in August with a busy schedule as we play 3
days at the Perkinstock Bluegrass Festival in ME and then
play at Sunshine Farms ins Sherborn, MA. We're still
in the studio working on that CD and hope to have it when
you all get to see us next. Fingers crossed.
Have
A Happy
4th
Of July!!
BVBB NEWS 6/16/07
Thank you everyone for making our appearance at the
Amazing
Things Arts Center
such a wonderful time. You were all such a great
audience!! If some folks reading this have never been
there, its a small room which gets the audience nice and
close to the band. It really creates a warm and
intimate atmosphere. Kinda reminds me of the "Old
Vienna Coffeehouse" in Westboro, which is now closed, but
used to bring in many big name folk, acoustic and bluegrass
acts. You would be just a couple feet away from them
and feel like you were right on stage!
We just want to say that the whole band had a GREAT time and
I know you folks did too!!
We really enjoyed getting to speak with many
of you that evening and look forward to returning next year.
Thanks Mike for already booking us!!
Thanks
again everyone! djn

UPDATES:
As promised there are a bunch of new gigs posted on
the
Show Schedule page . We are still working on finalizing
a few others too!! I posted a few pics on the
Picture page from the Joe Val 2007 festival and I'm
working on getting a video posted too. We're also still hard
at work to get our CD out.....slow but sure progress is
being made.
Also - we're playing once a month at "Mill Street
Brews" in Southbridge, MA. On the last Thursday of the
month we come out and host Bluegrass night.
We're not sure exactly what's going to happen
on any given night and you never know who may show up to
pick with the band. COOL!! Perhaps a special guest or 2 -
maybe a band - who knows. Come on out to see what happens!
Next show is April 26th.
BVBB NEWS 3/13/07
