Here are some other great music links, in no particular order.
Alright,  there's a lot of Mando pages, but hey.....I built the site and I can do what I want!!

Slo-Grass - Our musical buddies and another band Bob plays with...on the Bass. Slo-Grass has been entertaining central Mass. audiences for 8 years now with their signature mix of bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk, celtic-reggae (?!) - it's all acoustic!

Valerie and Walter Crockett - Check out the home site of Worcester's favorite folk rockers!

Chuck and Mud - Good friends and mainstays in the Worcester County music scene for 30 years and running! Check 'em out.

Barb Diederich's Bluegrass Calendar - a really tremendous source of info and links to all corners of the bluegrass globe…

The Boston Bluegrass Union - a wonderful connection to New England area events, gigs, pickin parties and bands maintained by Judy Alland, Gerry Katz and John Robinson.

International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) -a link to the international professional trade organization dedicated to promoting and expanding the knowledge of Bluegrass Music.

Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine - since1966, this excellent publication has been dedicated to the furtherance of bluegrass and old-time country musicians, devotees and associations.

Banjo Newsletter - lots of great tab and features for (ugh!) banjo players.

David Grisman's Dawgnet - the also really cool site of the grandaddy of mandolin with lots of info about mandolin CD's on his private Acoustic Disk label.

MandoZine magazine for mandolinsters - MandoZine is a great resource for beginning and advanced mandolinsters and those who don't play, but love the music. Includes a mandolin buyer's guide, workshops and more.

Rounder Records Homepage - reach the home of Rounder Records, with links and info on their complete catalogue of acoustic and related recordings.

The Mandolin Cafe - located near historic downtown Lawrence, Kansas on the banks of the Kansas River, a favorite diner for mandolin players of all styles. Lots of mandolin chords, exercises, charts, lessons, tablature, soloing exercises, mandolin software, historical information, mandolin technical and product information, and "lots of other fun stuff".

Elderly Musical Instrument Co. - a huge music store and mail-order service featuring new and used guitars, basses, amplifiers (whatever they are!), banjos, mandolins, fiddles, dulcimers, harmonicas, accordions, bodhrans, books, videos, CD's and cassettes. Good prices.

Mandolin Brothers - in Staten Island, NY. For any of you with a quarter to call someone who cares, this is where Fran bought his "Black Beauty" Flatiron. All kinds of instruments. A great store, a little overpriced, but worth the drive for anyone in the Northeast.

MusiCal - Calendar of Events - Musi-Cal provides easy access to the most up-to-date worldwide live music information: concerts, festivals and other musical events. You can even add your band's performances to the database.

The Dirty Linen Gig Guide - Dirty Linen is the bi-monthly magazine of folk and world music. The sites gig guide maintains a comprehensive list of artists tour schedulesincluding local and national acts.  It's free and it's awesome.   Please check it out.

FolkLib Index: A Library of Folk Music Links - The FolkLib Index is an on-going attempt to index information on the World Wide Web that is related to the fields of Folk Music, Bluegrass and Old-Time Music, Acoustic Blues, Fingerstyle Acoustic Guitar, Harp (the stringed kind) Players.

A sharp, informative site. Very professional AND they list bands for free!! Thanks iBluegrass!
