NEWS!! See below for more info on our new CD "Soulshine"NEWS!!

Blackstone Valley Bluegrass  With Dave Dick on banjo, his brother Bob Dick on guitar, Dan Nowlan on mandolin and Ken Taylor on upright bass, this original lineup has been together for more than a dozen years - rare for bluegrass bands these days.  Over the years this seasoned group has built up a solid and ever expanding repertoire to go along with an engaging stage performance; these guys can really mix things up musically and entertain an audience! They're all multi-instrumentalists and play a wide range of bluegrass styles... but what really sets them apart are their powerful three and four part harmonies.  Come check out Blackstone Valley Bluegrass to hear some great bluegrass music, smooth harmonies, fast but tasteful pickin', and most importantly, to have a great time!

New 2011 CD Release!  "Soulshine"

Hi Folks,
Last month we released our new CD
"Soulshine" with two concerts.  Both concerts were met with a great turnout and enthusiastic response from our audiences.  We sold many CDs - THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

We've been working on this project through many blizzards, through the summer in between our busy schedule, and even through the tropical storm Irene with it's power outages, but it's finally been completed!  The CD contains a great selection of songs that we perform regularly, plus a couple you may have never heard us do.

GET YOURS TODAY! - Visit our CD Page or go to CD Baby to have a listen and to order yours today!!
Oh and we'll have electronic ordering cards too at our shows!

Is there a Blackstone Valley? YES!  The Blackstone River Valley of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is the “Birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution,” the place where America made the transformation from Farm to Factory.  This is where we live!

Thanks for coming to our little place on the web.  Have a look a round, there are lots of photos, videos and sound samples for you to check out.  Please check out our Schedule page for where we are playing next!
